Now on show at the Playhouse Theatre until September, La Cage Aux Folles tickets are some of the hottest around, enabling access to an award-winning musical starring John Barrowman. With a hilarious storyline and plenty of flamboyant characters, the stage is set for a riotous show of colour and vibrant performance.

Classic musical
Following the antics of Georges and his gay lover Albin, who own the La Cage Aux Folles drag nightclub, the pair become entangled in a plot to win over the prospective parents in law of Georges' son, Jean-Michele. A classic musical that was adapted from the seventies film for the stage in the eighties, there are bound to be many people glad to see La Cage Aux Folles tickets back on sale in London.

John Barrowman
The flamboyant star of stage and screen will be playing the role of Albin from 14th September 2009, bringing his own inimitable style to the role. Fresh from impressive turns in television shows such as Torchwood and Doctor Who, Barrowman looks set to make this production even more popular than it currently is.

Drag cabaret
Georges and Albin have been happily living their lives for many years when Jean-Michele turns up with Anne and begins to cause problems for them. Georges' estranged lover Sybil, who is Jean-Michele's mother, is supposed to be coming to stay as part of the pretence that she and George are still together. When she doesn't show up, Albin puts on his drag and appears as Jean-Michele's mother, causing all kinds of hilarity. When Jean-Michele's fiance's parents discovers that his father is gay and lives with a drag cabaret star, all hell breaks loose as everyone attempts to resolve the situation for the two lovers.

Popular revival
Starring the likes of Simon Burke and Gabriel Vick, the revival of the show is sure to please many fans of the film and musical, and gain extra devotees as they see it for the first time since its huge success at the Menier Chocolate Factory. It now transfers to the Playhouse Theatre so expect an even bigger show, full of the same hilarious fun the Menier's production boasted. And with La Cage Aux Folles tickets such a huge hit with all musical lovers in London, you had better get your hands on a pair soon!

La Cage Aux Folles runs at the Playhouse Theatre from Monday 20th October 2008 - Saturday 2nd January 2010. If you would like to book La Cage Aux Folles tickets, please click the Buy Tickets button.
