Classical proms
If you missed out on the Last Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall earlier on in the year, then give yourself a late Christmas present and head to the Last Night of the Christmas Proms instead. There'll be plenty of flag waving and rousing classics to stir up some patriotic festive cheer.

London Concert Orchestra
Featuring contributions from the London Concert Orchestra conducted by Anthony Inglis, as well as baritone Kevin Greenlaw and tenor James Edwards, the Last Night of the Christmas Proms promises plenty of world class classic music on bank holiday Tuesday. The flag waving finale includes proms favourites such as Nessun Dorma, Rule, Brittania! and Land of Hope and Glory.

Festive concert
Other instantly recognizable classics to feature on the Last Night of the Christmas Proms programme include Holst's Jupiter from The Planets, Elgar's Nimrod and Grieg's In the Hall of the Mountain King. Other music to be performed on the night includes the Sleeping Beauty Waltz by Tchaikovsky, Largo al factotum by Rossini and Bolero by Ravel.
