Last Night of the Poms Tickets

Hold on to your hats possums, Last Night of the Poms tickets are now available for what promises to be a hilarious night of entertainment and music, hosted by two legendary comedy creations, Sir Les Patterson and Dame Edna Everage. Last Night of the Poms tickets will see the pair joined by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra as they perform a stunning score composed and conducted by Carl Davis.

When the Last Night of the Poms was first shown back in 1981 it was a huge success, combining superb music with some very fine comedy. 2009 marks the shows return, with the London leg at the Royal Albert Hall being part of a UK tour taking in towns such as Birmingham, Edinburgh, Brighton, Cardiff and Liverpool. American composer Carl Davis will be joined by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in performing an original score that promises to once again wow audiences throughout the UK.

Hosting the Last Night of the Poms, and keeping things ticking over nicely, will be Barry Humphries’ legendary comic creations, Sir Les Patterson and Dame Edna Everage. Sir Les Patterson is the self-appointed, self-anointed Number One Cultural Supremo of Australia. A politican by trade, Sir Les enjoys many responsibilities, most of which revolve around keeping sports rampantly heterosexual and at all times ‘blokey’.

Dame Edna Everage
Sharing hosting duties at the Last Night of the Poms is the Dame herself, Dame Edna Everage. Call her old fashioned but this particular possum is one of the most recognised and enduring comedy talents, with an acerbic wit that’s been used on even the most famous of faces.
