Late at Tate Britain takes place on the first Friday of every month and gives you the chance to see the latest exhibitions in the evening.

Late night art
Alongside the late night entry to the current shows, you can also wander the gallery spaces and enjoy some fantastic entertainment. Live performances, music, talks and films are all regular features on the Late at Tate Britain menu, meaning you can get your fill of late night art in just one event! The bar will be open throughout the evening, so you can enjoy a tipple or three with the events, and you could always book into the Rex Whistler Restaurant to round off the evening.

Friday fun
And the best part of all, is that it's all free, excluding your exhibition ticket if you want one, and that is only half price. So even if you've just been paid and then spent it all on your credit card bill, there's no excuse not to head out for some arty fun on the first Friday of the month.

Late at Tate Britain
Enjoy the late night session with an evening at one of the galleries temporary exhibitions at the next Late at Tate Britain event. As well as half price entry to the current exhibitions, there's also the chance to enjoy live music, artist led talks, film screenings and live performances. The next event takes its inspiration from the new Picasso exhibition and explores the artist's time in Britain, with highlights including the premiere of three ballets inspired by Picasso's costume and set design work for the Ballets Busses.
