Every week the National Gallery stays open late giving art lovers and music fans the chance to wander the galleries in peace and quiet, or catch a few drinks whilst listening to the live music. Classical and jazz musicians play live, the National Cafe is open late and the bar is also open for those who want to meet up with friends.

Cultural events
Everything from cool jazz to early Baroque and popular classical pieces are played, and the Friday Lates at National Gallery are also the perfect time to see the current exhibition without the crowds. Arts fans can also look forward to guided tours, lectures, drawing workshops and artist led talks.
