In celebration of London’s cultural prowess and vibrant nightlife, many of the city’s favourite artistic institutions come together for Lates London, an ongoing season of late night cultural events at the capital’s major art galleries and museums that offer an alternative to pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs. With a series of exciting exhibitions, film screenings, performances and live music shows available throughout the year, Lates London is a real highlight in the calendar of bona fide culture vultures.

Many potential visitors to London’s many cultural events are simply unable to visit during the normal exhibition times, as they often unfortunately coincide with working hours. However, the extended opening hours that the Lates season offers gives Londoners a chance to see the fantastic array of artistic events that the city offers. And even if you’re just a night owl, the Lates season offers a seductive alternative to the same old bars and pubs that you’ve been going to for years.
