Willing guinea pigs
Surely one of the best ways to be experimented on, the Le Cordon Bleu High Tea gives the patisserie diploma students the chance to showcase their enviable skills and creativity, with you as the very willing guinea pig feasting on a dazzling array of cakes, pastries and sweet, beautifully presented morsels. The high tea acts as the end of term show for the students, who have been honing their baking and sugarcraft skills at the renowned culinary school.

Feast for the senses
The flavoursome morsels on the Le Cordon Bleu High Tea menu include hand crafted traditional pastries such as Paris-Brest, tarte aux fruits and strawberry and Champagne mousse. There's also a selection of classic cakes to try, as well as brightly coloured macaroons, sugared sculptures and freshly baked scones served with home made jam and clotted cream.

Tea party
Aiming to be a cut above your average tea party, the Le Cordon Bleu High Tea takes place in the luxurious setting of the Mandeville Hotel. The tea is priced at just £15.00 per person, making it one of one of the more affordable afternoon teas in London.

The next Le Cordon Bleu High Tea takes place from 3.30pm - 5.30pm, Wednesday 27th April 2011. The tea costs £15.00 per person. For more information and to make a reservation, call 0207 935 5599.
