Taking place in the historic and ornate covered market for thee third year in a row, the Leadenhall Market Pancake Race sees teams made up from businesses in the market and the surrounding area compete for glory. Cheer on the contestants as they race around the market, frying pans in hand, as they attempt to outrun their opponents whilst flipping the perfect pancake.

Free pancakes
As an added incentive to come along and watch all the action at the Leadenhall Market Pancake Race, the first 100 spectators who arrive outside the Lamb Tavern will be given a free pancake served with lemon and sugar. A perfect lunchtime pick-me-up, the free pancakes are likely to be in hot demand, so make sure you arrive in plenty of time to claim your serving.
