Registration at the Prism was fantastic. Professional and very friendly staff. The jazz duo were excellent.

We bought a bottle of wine (£7.50) which entitled us to 2 vouchers for bread and butter pudding if we wanted to return to the Prism after The Big Roast. The Big Roast was a big disappointment.

Platters of meat were set on the tables and some people went into a feeding frenzy leaving very little or nothing for others. We didn't sample the Tipperary pig, had a splash of gravy and shared half a Yorkshire Pudding each.

For £40 a ticket, we expected a little better. We appreciate it was the first event of it's kind at the Leadenhall but there is certainly room for improvement.

I have waitressed at The Little Britain Cup in Cowes for a 1500 sit down event over three days and it knocks spots of the 800 staggered covers catered for at The Big Roast. The main pointer I would give is to silver serve all the meat for portion control.

I am sure the people who had no shame in piling meat onto their plates to the detriment of others will give a big thumbs up to the event.

We couldn't get back to The Prism quickly enough, to take up the offer of their bread and butter pudding (forfeiting the Rhubarb crumble on offer at The Big Roast).

The bread and butter pudding was divine and Lydia's thoughtfulness and attentiveness made our visit to The Prism thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.

We will be back there but unfortunately not The Big Roast.
