Celebrate the long summer bank holiday weekend at the Bookstock Leonard Street party, when Shoreditch favourite The Book Club spills out onto the streets for a good old fashioned East End knees up.

Street party
Free and open to all, the Leonard Street party celebrates the height of summer in traditional cockney style with a street party like no other. Uniting Shoreditch hipsters with lifelong residents young and old, the street festival promises an authentic community atmosphere on the bank holiday weekend.

Free festival
Feel a part of all the action at the Leonard Street party with live music from the great and good of the Shoreditch scene. There's also food from local cafes and restaurants, art installations, a chill out zone, DJ sets, film screenings, dancing, a fancy dress box and games galore.

Larks a plenty
Promising plenty of fun for grown ups and all ages, the Leonard Street party includes cocktails, balloons and more bunting than you can shake a stick at. Entertainment on the day has been organised by The Book Club and follows on the heels of the hugely popular Diamond Jubilee street party that the street held in June.

The Leonard Street party takes place from 12pm - 8pm, Sunday 26th August 2012. Admission is free.
