The Library of Babel exhibition at 176 Zabludowicz Collection brings together work selected from the 2,000 strong collection at the gallery in an unusual salon style show. Featuring just 200 pieces of art from nearly as many artists, the Library of Babel is the largest ever showcase of work to take place at the venue.

Library of Babel exhibition
Dramatically different from the normal exhibitions that feature at the 176 Zabludowicz Collection, the show has been curated by Anna Catharina Gebbers whose decision to exhibit the pieces in the salon style deliberately marks out the enormous amount of art on display. A few artists included in the show are Mat Collishaw, Tracey Emin, Marc Quinn, Michael Landy and Cindy Sherman.

Be your own curator
The layout of the exhibition means that visitors to the Library of Babel exhibition will in essence have to curate their own show by choosing which pieces to look at from the huge selection. Drawing your own conclusions about what is noteworthy and what is not, the exhibition gives you the chance to curate your own mini show from the one on offer at the gallery.

Take a tour
As if curating your own exhibition from the Library of Babel exhibition wasn't enough, there is also a chance for you to take a tour of visitors around the gallery, highlighting the pieces you like. So if you fancy yourself as something of an art historian, this is your chance to prove your know your onions and give a guided tour to members of the public.

Tracey Emin
Another part of the public programme event sees various artists take their own tours of the Library of Babel exhibition. Joining the offical curator on Saturday 20th March is Tracey Emin, whose work is included in the show. Tracey Emin will be joined by fellow artists Sophie von Hellermann and Alex Heim, along with Anna Catharina Gebbers, the curator.
