Following the destruction of one relationship and the spark of another, Lightning Field sees Sam and his boyfriend embark on a journey to the New Mexico desert that will irrevocably change the nature of their lives. Taking the journey as a pilgrimage to the Lightning Field art installation, Sam and Andy seek to restablish their relationship that seems to be very much on the rocks. Bringing with them one parent each, this 90 minutue play is full of drama, the psychology of love and the sacrafices we sometimes have to make to keep hold of the things we care for.
