Little Bay is excellent. I just don't understand how they can get their prices so low!!! It is amazing. If you haven't gone already, I would suggest that you go as soon as possible.

Visited there during the pay what you want promotion. They refused to book in a party of 12 so we had to book to tables of 6 for the same day, once we arrived the manager saw what was happening and so did helpfully sort us a table arrangement for 12. We arrived at 1830 and ended up leaving at 2230 (near closing time). Our party was forgotten for most of the night and we saw many smaller parties come and go. The food is nice but the portions are tiny. The singing man giving entertainment was enjoyable if slightly cringe-worthy. Look out for the 'sculpture' on the staircase if you are seated downstairs.

I went in a group of six at a very busy period just before christmas and had a lovely time at this restuarant. It is an informal, down to earth venue with great food at very reasonable prices. If you expect snooty silver service and a la carte menue this is not the place for you. But if you want to relax with a great quirkey atmosphere and fresh well prepared food then you will enjoy yourself.

I went to Little Bay in Farringdon last Friday for my husband’s birthday dinner and it was an absolute disaster.
The first disappointment began when our 6 person group were seated in the least attractive corner of the basement overlooking a white tiled dish bar area from where we jealously looked at the rest of the otherwise theatrically decorated of restaurant.
The second disappointment wasn’t long in coming when the waitress forgot to write one of our parties main course down. She then had to wait for this to be cooked whilst the rest of us ate.
This was compensated by a free bottle of wine which we were happy with.
The climax of this nightmare was to follow when the same member of our party who had to wait for her main was then served her dessert, profita rolls in chocolate sauce. After one bite it was clear these were no normal profita rolls and were instead profita rolls stuffed with crab meat and ginger.
We requested a manager who unwillingly apologized saying that the starter and dessert look similar and offered an exchange for any other desert of choice.
After my friends unheard attempts to explain that she does not want to eat anything else in this restaurant the short tempered manager begun shouting at her that he said to her 4 times that she can have another dessert for free.
This was totally unacceptable for us and we made him agree we are not going to pay for the dinner at all.
All in all apart of a very unprofessional and aggressive manager the menu was very average and the quality reflected the price.
My conclusion of Little Bay is simple "You get what you pay for"
My expectations were high because of the fantastic reviews this place received so I am writing this review for a possibly more demanding customer audience.

How cheap is Little Bay? They're either great philanthropists or Little Bay is actually a cover for a giant drug smuggling operation. Who knows?
