Whats On
The London Boat Show comes to London this winter with an exhibition of boats, live water sports, accessories and more in one huge boating event.

Boating heaven at the London Boat Show
The ExCel Centre will be transformed into boating heaven for this month in one of the biggest boat shows in the world. Boating, water sports and sailing enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice of things to see and do at an event packed with marine attractions.

Dream boats and expert advice
A line up of the world’s most exclusive yachts and boats will be on display at the London Boat Show, with everything from multi-million pound cruisers to dinghies on show. Visitors can climb aboard and experience the boats up close, whilst experts will be on hand to talk through the latest models.

London Boat Show Deck Games
Nonstop action will be taking place at the show, featuringa whole host of great activities. There will be a variety of on-water activities available in the brand new indoor pool so get ready to make a splash. Kids will be keen to get their hands on some of the deck games designed for younger hands. Both interesting and educational, this is the place for little sailors to learn the ropes.

Show time at the London Boat Show
The main stage will once again host a fantastic selection of marine themed entertainment, fashion, seminars and experiences every day of the show. The Sea Queen Aerial Spectacular will return to London with their Marmaid's Tale performance, which combines energetic circus dancing and all kinds of aerial acrobatics in a stunning show that will be enjoyed by all.

Navy vessel
With the move to ExCel, the Boat Show has been able to liaise with the Royal Navy to bring huge frigates to the show. These are now some of the most popular additions to the show, with tens of thousands of people taking advantage of being able to climb aboard and explore these captivating machines.

Make a day out of it
Visitors can enjoy a drink or two at the Boat Show Black and White Bar or some food courtesy of all sorts of different local restaurants and cafes. Make the most of the chance to take a break with a relaxing pint, before getting back to browsing the stalls and exhibitions.

Water, water everywhere
This year sees the marina outside the ExCel centre once more showcasing a selection of some of the larger boats available. Docked on the Thames rather than being brought into the centre due to their sheer size, the Royal Victoria Dock is certainly a sight worth seeing as part of the London Boat Show 2009. there will also be a selection of vessels from the inland waterway industry, so if narrow boats and wide beam boats are your particular cup of tea, this area might be for you.

The London Boat Show takes place at the ExCel Centre, Docklands, from Friday 9th January - Sunday 18th January 2009. The show opens from 10am – 7pm daily, with later 9pm closing on Thursday 17th January and early closing at 6pm on Sunday 20th January.
