We visited The London Bridge Experience a few days ago, I went there before reading any of the below reviews about the attraction. I can’t believe how varied the review are, we truly did enjoy ourselves from the crazy guys outside the attraction right the way through to their scary zombies.

We were planning on coming to the attraction and managed to get a nice £5 off voucher from their guys on the street after they tried to chop Lucy’s head off.

When we got to the main entrance of the attraction which was tucked around the corner, we only had to wait for 20 minutes to get in so not too bad compared to other dungeon places.

The first part of the place focuses upon the history of the bridge, okay this isn’t for everyone but we really enjoyed it. As John said to me afterwards he said it reminded him of Horrible Histories. The actors were great, especially the Viking chap.

The second part of the place is called the London Tombs, at this point only me and John went through the full scare show my wife and Lucy went through a special less scary show. I think they made the right choice as Lucy would have screamed all the way around. We all really enjoyed the Tombs, me and John really did scream and there were so many cool things down their. Lucy also keeps on going on about how much fun she had and how she enjoyed the Tombs.

I think we will certainly be returning really good fun for all of us. I think the London Dungeons need to take a leaf from this places book.

I was forced to send this letter of complaint today after my experience of The London Bridge Experience today:

To whom it may concern,

I visited London today with a group of 5 other friends with the intention of visiting the London Dungeons for a birthday trip and we were stopped on the way by 3 of your actors and someone referred to as 'the boss.' We told him we had 2 for 1 vouchers for the dungeon and so he offered us one free ticket and the rest of us at £10 totaling £50. This was a very convincing offer and we were about to walk away and discuss changing plans, but already really agreeing we would go in, when two of your actors selected three of us, apparently to play a game for another free ticket.

The game was rigged but we went along with it for a laugh and I lost and walked away, I was then pulled back by one of the actors and told because I lost I was going in the stocks so again I played along. Once in there they took my hair bands out and squirted me with a water pistol, which was annoying, but still I went along with it and assumed that would be the end of it. However they then proceeded to tell me I needed drying off and both in turn rubbed their buttocks in my face. This was a grotesque, highly unprofessional and humiliating act and I tried to leave but could not get my head out and when I pulled my hands they pushed the restraints down tighter. They asked if I was ok to which I replied 'no' and they still continued on to get a saw for some other gag. One of my friends had to tell them they had gone too far and let me out himself.

How you think this is in anyway decent or a good way to encourage custom I will never understand. We were already sold on the deal we had been offered, but upon this experience which drove me near to tears left to go to the dungeons. This was plainly bullying and having two strangers buttocks rubbed in my face without any warning or consent is grounds for assault as far as I am concerned, as well as ruining the d

Went today , very bad, can't understand why it cost so much, you would think a place like this would have good make up, great costumes, and even better actors, NOPE not at all. People out front too pushy and rude. Downstairs was dark, like hardly could see anything, very dangerous for me and my children and will let any and all know about it...............

Friggin loved this! Totally scared me sh**tless!

Best bit was when this zombie dude jumped out at me... I nearly had a heart attack.

Tip - Watch out for the werewolf with the chain-saw!!

What a fantastic experience! As a parent – I’m so bored of the standard ‘same-old’ attractions that parents have to endure whilst accompanying their children….

But not The London Bridge Experience and The London Tombs. What a breath of fresh air!As myself and my husband are not big fans of ride attractions – we tend to stand back and watch from the sidelines.

But at The London Bridge Experience, everyone is encouraged to get involved with the storyline and interact with the characters along the journey.

The London Tomb section is especially terrifying and there are a number of mysterious creatures jumping out and scaring you every step of the way.

Even as an adult, I did not anticipate how scared I would be!The kids thought it was fantastic and they agreed that the best part was being able to experience it with Mum and Dad.

A day filled with great memories. Defiantly visit!!!!

What an attraction. Talk about keeping the kids entertained.

I took them there for the last week of Summer and they had a fab time. Not only did they learn a bit of London Bridge's past, but they learnt how to be quiet for the whole day and didn't ask me for a single thing more.

This attraction is well worth a visit and brings a breath of fresh air to the old repetitive attractions.

Its about time we were given a new attraction to discover.

I went there today and can say that this is first for a London attraction. The experiance is very much like walking through a horror film.

Overall the general appearance of the London Bridge Experience was pitiful, it seemed to lack a sense of realism. As you wonder through the so called Tombs of London Bridge, your guide or common actor who is struggling to make an impact as a proffesional actor feeds you with facts about the london bridge that seem abit too far fetched. The only half decent sections were the the 1600s. The only echoes which I could hear in the 'haunted' corridoors and tombs were, "What a waste of money!". I feel that the staff and creators need to take a field trip across the road to the London Dungeons.

If you want my advise pay the extra five pounds and have an enjoyable experience at The London Dungeons. Do not be taken in by the staff who poach the customers in the London Dungeons line as it is not worth it at all.

Totally agree with the above review. If I hadn't allowed myself to be 'beheaded' opposite London Bridge station first, and hence got free admision, I would have considered it as a complete waste of money.

Last year I thoroughly enjoyed a trip to the London Dungeons and hoped that this would be even better. How wrong I was.
