London Bridges Walk

Raising money for the Kidney Research UK, the London Bridges Walk gives you the opportunity to take a great walk through the city and see the sights that you never normally pay attention to. Always taking the tube or staring into the distance as you rush through town? Take the chance to have a delightful stroll amongst the glorious architecture of London and appreciate what a beautiful city you live in.

Sightseeing tour
The London Bridges Walk takes you from Tower Bridge across seven other bridges and past many famous London sights. Going past some of the most famous of the capital's icons, like the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament, the walk covers seven miles of the city's streets. It's time to take advantage of the summer weather and get out there, seeing the sights and raising money for a valuable charity.

Charity walk
By entering the charity walk you will be helping people living with chronic kidney disease, as well as their families. Kidney Research UK aims to support the three million people whose lives are at risk by funding research into the causes, treatment and management of kidney disease, so by taking part in the 2012 London Bridges Walk you will be giving valuable support to the charity through your entry fee, your sponsorhsip money and by raising the profile of the charity itself.

The route
Ending up at Westminster Bridge, the walk then winds its way back to Tower Bridge and Potters Fields by crossing Blackfriars Bridge and Southwark Bridge. Other bridges on the route include Jubilee Bridge, Millennium Bridge and London Bridge.

The London Bridges Walk takes place on Sunday 8th July 2012 at Potters Field Park by Tower Bridge.
