London Fashion Week at Museum of London

Bringing the best of young talent out into the open, London Fashion Week at Museum of London sees two days of catwalk shows from the hottest new designers around. Fashion Diversity is transforming the museum into a mini version of the biannual London Fashion Week at the Natural History Museum with cutting edge new fashions and the latest collections.

Showcasing a selection of new young designers and models, London Fashion Week at Museum of London is your chance to get a close up look at the latest designs and maybe take a note of the designer stars of the future. Bringing their designs to the catwalks now may see them hitting the runways of London Fashion Week for real in a couple of years.

The perfect opportunity for younger designers and models to highlight their creations and their creativity, the two day shows are also a platform for training. Showing their designs to the fashion industry as well as eager fashion punters, this is great opportunity for the designers and anyone hoping to see who the next Henry Holland or Stella MacCartney will be.

The catwalk shows taking place during London Fashion Week at Museum of London will encompass collections from both new and established designers in the UK, and the final show on Saturday will be a chance to catch the best in hot new fashion from 10 designers from colleges across the country. All the designs on show will have been influenced by the fashion archives at the museum from the 60s and 70s, meaning you can take a visit around the museum to check out the inspirational clothes afterwards.

The Fashion Diversty catwalk shows are free to watch and take place from 1pm and 3pm on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September 2008.
