Whats On
Celebrate the cuisine of our Gallic brothers during October 2008 with London French Restaurant Week. Bringing the delights of the continent to our tables, the fortnight promises delicious gourmet food and a stylish French touch in all the best eateries in town.

French food in London
Fifty of the best French restaurants in London will be taking part in this extravaganza Francais, meaning if you love French food, there will be plenty in store for you over the two week festival. In different locations all around the city, you can sample traditional and contemporary cuisine and even get discounts on your meals.

Not just in restaurants
Despite its title, London French Restaurant Week isn't just about getting you into the restaurants of the capital. Other great French foodie events will be taking place at delis, patisseries and markets around town so you can treat yourself to a free coffee here, or a yummy cake there. And for those that love their markets, you can get 20 percent off every purchase from Une Normande a Londres at all the popular markets, including Borough Market, Portobello Market and Cabbages and Frocks Market in Marylebone.

French Restaurant Week highlights
Some of the very best restaurants in London serve up some fantastic French food meaning the London French Restaurant Week is the perfect chance to get to grips with some seriously tasty dishes. Le Vacherin will be offering a free glass of Champagne on arrival, St Germain is giving London French Restaurant Week customers 20 percent off and you can get a free sweet crepe when you order a savoury crepe at Crepe Affaire Spitalfields. Famous French chefs
There is also the chance to try out some of the best French restaurants in London, with the likes of Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester, and Jean Christophe Novelli and Michel Roux are also getting involved. If you want to try the authentic taste of the French kitchen, head to Aubergine, Brasserie Roux, which was inspired by the great Albert Roux, or the wonderfully unusual Dans le Noir for the French experience.

London French Restaurant Week takes place Monday 6th October - Monday 20th October 2008 at various venues around London. For more information on the participating venues and their offers, click on the link below.
