The third London Games Festival kicks off in October in a celebration of interactive entertainment in the capital. Featuring a massive selection of games and some of the biggest names in the industry, the festival is a definite must for button bashers everywhere, with all manner of events and activities to explore.

Video Games LiveMulti media gaming classics and cutting edge new characters, and the Southbank Centre bring gamers a real treat to the London Games Festival on the 24th October. The English Chamber Orchestra will be accompanied by a huge choir and will perform a selection of scores from well known computer games. This will be complemented by superb visual treats as synchronized lighting, video footage, live action and more which all looks set to create a truly awe inspiring display.
Visitors will also get the chance to sample a whole load of new gaming titles, take part in competitions and meet top industry names. There really is a feast of fun going on so any gaming fans should pop along for a day they'll not forget.
More FunOver the course of the week's entertainment, the London Games Festival will prove a must for both techies and gamers alike. There's the London MCM Expo at ExCel London, which will look into video games, movies and Manga, as well Be Very Afraid V, which gives you the chance to hear about all kinds of new technologies from the people that use them. The annual British Academy Video Games Awards will also be held, celebrating the very best in video gaming.
