The 29th London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, now renamed Flare, presents a showcase of international film and special events, all taking place at the BFI Southbank. Dozens of feature films, short films and documentaries that explore LGBT themes and issues will be screened throughout the festival, in addition to special events and guest appearances.

World cinema
A diverse collection of films from all over the world will be screening throughout the festival. A line up of acclaimed filmmakers are showcasing contemporary works tackling gay and lesbian themes, in one of the largest film events of its kind. With film highlights including debut features and plenty of fantastic flicks, this year's London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival screens contemporary films along with classic cinema in a mix of indie and blockbuster pieces.

This year's events
The 2015 Flare London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival sees a great line up of films, with the screenings of films from international directors, telling the stories of various LGBT communities from around the world. Many special events include compelling documentaries and a series of films about gender, sex and transformation. Building on the success and popularity of previous years, the 2015 festival is guaranteed to be filled with even more films and exciting events.

Treats for film fans
For those that don't want to miss a single moment of this year's London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, there are several key dates to put in your diary so you know what's happening when. The 19th March sees the opening night gala with the what is sure to be a very hot ticket for the first night screening. The closing closing night gala is on 29th March, is certain to feature something just as good to end the festival with.

Best of the Year and special screenings
A series of discussions and workshops gives audiences the chance to talk about gay and lesbian issues in an open, lively, environment, and there's the chance to catch a special family screening too.
