London MCM Expo

The London MCM Expo is back once again this October and taking place over three days for the very first time. Well established as one of the highlights on the games, comic, sci fi and anime calendar, the 2011 London MCM Expo is set to bring you the very best in new releases, films, cosplay and entertainment.

Taking over ExCel London for three whole days, this year's festival of all things anime, manga, comics and film brings you more of your favourite movie stars and TV personalities, the best in new comic book talent and the chance to take part in or witness the famous cosplay masquerade. Gamers will also be able to get their hands on the latest new titles from the biggest and best game companies around.

Weekend highlights
Whether you want to bag yourself several autographs from some of the best TV show actors around or you want to get your hands on the hottest new games from the likes of EA Games and Nintendo, there will be plenty of exciting events and opportunities at this year's London MCM Expo. Comic fans will be keen to meet up with various different comic artists, or meet up with various special guests.

Cosplay
Always one of the most popular areas of the London MCM Expo, this year Totally Cosplay is a whole area dedicated to the art of cosplay. Here you can meet with other cosplay fans, see displays of costumes, catch games, performances and workshops too. You can also get some valuable help in advance of the ever popular cosplay masquerade which is always one of the major highlights of the show.

MCM Awards
Back for 2011 the London MC Expo plays hosts to the MCM Awards where the best films, games, TV shows, anime, manga and comics will be awarded their titles as voted by the online MCM community. The finals of EuroCosplay 2011 will also take place meaning you will be amongst the first to see the winners go through their heats and compete for the right to wear the cosplay crown. Comic fans will also be thrilled that the Eagles, the comic book fan awardss, now takes place at the MCM Expo too.

The London MCM Expo takes place from 2pm - 7pm Friday 28th October, 9am - 6pm Saturday 29th October and 10am - 5pm Sunday 30th October 2011. Tickets are £10.00 or £16.00 for early entry, £5.00 for 11 - 14 year olds, and 10s and under are free.
