London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run comes round again for 2010 with a whole host of cars from the good old days of motor sport. All cars taking part in the run are older than 1905 and make for a fine display of character, individuality and personality. A real spectacle for any motoring fan or lover of classic cars, the London to Brighton veteran car run is a special event that will be enjoyed by all.

Vintage cars
With celebrities, musicians, sport and stage stars and even royalty taking part in this annual event, the well renowned veteran car run is a sight to see on the streets of London. Setting off early in the morning on Sunday 7th November 2010, you can wave the runners and riders off on the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run and check out all the cars as they go.

2010 theme
This year the Veteran Car Run is based around the theme of pre 1905 motor manufacturing from the Netherlands. With a selection of rare European veteran cars taking place in the car run this autumn, there will be plenty of Continental spirit at the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run 2010.

Fun for spectators
For those that can't bear the thought of getting up early on a Sunday morning to see the cars leaving Hyde Park for the coast, the cars taking part in the London to Brighton run are on display in Regent Street on Saturday 6th November. Over 100 of the cars taking part can be viewed in all their glory from 11am - 3pm free of charge to the public, meaning those that have always faniced owning one of these classic veteran cars can get up close and personal to the motor of their dreams. Check out the different makes and models, see how old they are, and take note of your favourite car and you will be entered into a free prize draw to win a special prize.

Hyde Park
The car run concours at Regent Street gives you a heads up as to the cars taking part in the race. Starting at 7.04am in Hyde Park, the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run will then continue to send the cars off in pairs until 8:30am, before they appear on the Sussex coast in Brighton for the end of the race around 10am - 4.30pm.

The International Concours takes place on Regent Street from 11am - 3pm, Saturday 6th November 2010. The race then begins in Hyde Park from 7.04am - 8.30am, Sunday 7th November 2010. Both events are free for spectators.
