Join the Bard of Barking for a special St Georges Day concert entitled Looking for New England, after a line from one of his songs. Billy Bragg is famous for his folksy punk songs, and his obsession with the nature of being English. His recently published book, The Progressive Patriot is also an exploration of English identity and is full of his characteristic humour.

Featuring live music from not only Billy Bragg, but also Rachel Unthank and the Winterset, Tom Clarke from The Enemy, and Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, the concert will be an alternative to the more formal and patriotic events normally held on St Georges Day.
