A genre busting mix of wrestling, theatre, and cabaret, this Mexican wrestling Lucha Libre London show promises to be unbeatable for spectacle and entertainment value in the run up to Christmas.

Spectacular shows
Billed as an early Christmas present for Roundhouse audiences, the Lucha Libre London wrestling event blends sportsmanship and theatricality in equal measure to create show stopping performances. Contributions from DJ Toy Selectah of the Mexican super group Control Machete adds to the performances by the brawny beefcakes and makes Lucha Libre an unmissable dose of Mexican magic.

Star performers
Mexican wrestling is famed for its larger than life characters in colourful costumes, and the Lucha Libre London show does not disappoint as a host of stars return to the Roundhouse stage. The hero of the night is the legendary gladiator El Hijo del Santo, who, with his fierce but tiny sidekick, Mascarita Sagrada, faces the evil Blue Demon Jr. Other members of the luchadores lineup include El Lobo, the mini-troll from Jack Black's Nacho Libre, and the singing mariarchi Corazon de Barrio.

Alternative panto
In keeping with the time of the season, Lucha Libre presents many characters that audiences will recognise from traditional British pantos. The cross-dressing quota is more than filled by transvestite wrestlers Cassandro and Ruby Gardenia, who provide an exotic flair to the mask wearing, muscle bound team. A special matinee performance on Sunday 7th December is designed to encourage families to join in the festive fun.
