Made in Clerkenwell

A specialist workshop set up to enable artists, designers and craft workers to sell their work direct to the public, the Made in Clerkenwell event is a chance for the buyers to get to meet the designers themselves and learn about their crafts.

Over 70 designers and makers feature their work in the Made in Clerkenwell event and products come from a range of crafts such as jewellery, interiors, ceramics, fashion and accessories.

The open studio weekend not only allows Londoners with a desire for beautifully crafted objects to get their hands on the designs, but also means a chance to see the final exhibition of the Clerkenwell Green Associations final exhibition in the Creative 8 series.

Spoilt for choice is generally how you will feel at Made in Clerkenwell, as visitors are invited into this unique shopping event to get their hands on fabulous designer goodies, and amazing one offs. With a chance to see behind the scenes too and learn about the design process itself, the event turns shopping into a true artform.

Bag yourself some delightful items for the home or yourself, or think about presents for friends and relatives. There is sure to be something unusual or vibrant that catches your eye. From a whole host of designer brimming with talent, Made in Clerkenwell is certainly one of the hottest shopping destinations in London this season.

Made in Clerkenwell is open from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 27th, and from 12pm to 6pm on Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November 2008. Entrance is free to the under 16s.
