A bit of Deptford charm
This year's Made in Deptford Festival will see a huge range of arts, music, creative and child friendly events take to the streets of Deptford. Alongside the annual procession, the weekend festival will be crammed full of poets, pirates and luvvaduck charm to keep you entertained.

Live music in Deptford
The Made in Deptford Festival will showcase a selection of local acts, performing in what is Deptford’s third annual open air live music event. The crowds will be rocking out to new independent music and catching a glimpse of the rising stars on the London scene.

Art and design
A range of art exhibitions and studios will be on display in the Made in Deptford Festival in addition to special behind the scenes tours. Visitors can also browse art and fashion in a series over 25 open studios featuring around 70 designers.

Historical drama
Dramatic performances will bring history to life at the Made In Deptford Festival, accompanied by workshops for children and young people. Other children’s events include poster designing, storytelling and a number of other bits and bobs to keep them well entertained.

A world of food in Made in Deptford
Multi-cultural cuisine will be available to sample at local shops and restaurants, where visitors will also be able to pick up a copy of Deptford’s International Cookbook.

The Made in Deptford Festival takes place throughout Deptford from Saturday 5th July – Sunday 6th July 2008. Events are free to attend. For further information and full listings of events, please click on the link below. Other London events
