The giant shopping centre is rolling out the celebrity treatment for the Mariah Carey at Westfield event, with a pink VIP carpet, butterfly confetti and hundreds of fans ready to greet the American superstar. The singer is throwing the switch on the Christmas lights at Westfield and illuminating the festive decorations in what is bound to be a popular and exciting event.

Album signing
After she switches on the Christmas lights at Westfield Shopping Centre, Mariah Carey will be signing copies of her new album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. Fans can come face to face with Mariah Carey at Westfield and get their hands on a signed copy of the two disc album at the signing, which takes place in The Atrium.

Following the appearance by Mariah Carey at Westfield, Christmas really gets underway at the shopping centre. Take the kids to a special session with Santa at the Santas Wish Kingdom and get your Christmas shopping done at the high street shops and special boutiques that can be found throughout the shopping centre.

Fans can see Mariah Carey at Westfield from 6pm, Thursday 19th November 2009, when she will be turning on the Christmas lights on the Southern Terrace. The album signing then takes place in The Atrium from 6.30pm - 8pm.
