Marvel Super Heroes 4D
Featuring a Hall of Heroes and interactive displays where you can see what you'd look like if you turned into The Hulk and hang out on the ceiling with Spider-Man, the Marvel Super Heroes at Madame Tussauds experience brings some of the world's most loved superhero characters to life. Fans can see Iron Man in full armour as well as a host of other superheroes loved by generations of comic book and film fans.
Film adaptations
Recent film adaptations of the Marvel comics have brought the superheroes to a whole new audience, and fans can see waxworks of Wolverine as played by Hugh Jackman and The Invisible Woman, as played by Jessica Alba. The Marvel Super Heroes at Madame Tussauds exhibition also features a wax figure of Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury, who appeared in both Iron Man and the recently released Iron Man 2.
4D cinema
One of the highlights of the Marvel Super Heroes at Madame Tussauds attraction is bound to be the nine minute 4D cinema experience, which incorporates a 3D screening with sensory special effects which include water, smoke and tremors that bring all the action right to your seat. Starring the likes of Captain America, The Hulk, Wolverine and Spider-Man, the film follows the story of the superheroes' fight to save London from the sinister Doctor Doom.
Test area
Kids are bound to also enjoy a trip to the Marvel Super Hero Test Area, which takes place within a recreation of Iron Man's work room. Families can test out Tony Stark's armour by stepping into a replica chest shield, before heading to the Heroes' Gallery and taking a look into the mutant mirror wall to see an alternative image of themselves.
The Marvel Super Heroes at Madame Tussauds interactive exhibition is open from Wednesday 2nd June 2010, and is an ongoing attraction. Opening hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 6pm Saturday - Sunday and during school holidays.
