London film fans have been treated to various different live film scores accompanying their screenings in recent years, with the Lord of the Rings event also taking place at the Royal Albert Hall, and the showing of 2001: A Space Odyssey at the Southbank Centre as part of the Ether festival. Enter the Matrix
Released in 1999, The Matrix follows the character of Neo, a computer programmer, who is drawn into a rebellion against the machines that have created a simulated reality where humans in the future live. Starring Keanu Reeves and Lawrence Fishburne, the story centres around the conflict between reality and its counterpart, and the little blue or red pills the characters take to transport them between each world. Bringing all the fantastical elements of the ground-breaking sci fi film to the big screen once again, the Matrix Live London event is a sure to be amazing evening of cinema and live music.

Not only will the Oscar winning film take you into the virtual world, but the addition of the NDR Pops Orchestra will transport you along in the fourth dimension.
