Enjoy the magic of the theatre under the stars with the Midnight Matinees at Globe Theatre. Providing an unusual and magical atmosphere, two special performances from the summer programme take place at midnight, inviting you to experience Shakespeare in a totally unique situation.

Macbeth
Kicking off the Midnight Matinees at Globe Theatre is the fantastic Macbeth which is showing on Friday 4th June 2010. Venture into the captivating world of love, deception and intrigue as one of the most popular of Shakespeare plays comes to the Globe, offering you the chance to see it under the stars at 12am.

The Merry Wives of Windsor
Friday 17th September sees the next Midnight Matinee performance at Shakespeares Globe Theatre, as The Merry Wives of Windsor busts onto the stage during the night. A fantastic Shakespearian comedy with a brilliantly complicated plot, the much-loved tale is brought to the life by some of Shakespearean theatre's biggest stars.

Show and Breakfast
Both Midnight Matinees at Globe Theatre will make sure you're kept nice and full too, with the Shakespeares Globe Bar and Brasserie laying on a buffet style breakfast as the sun rises over the Thames. So not only will you get to see two great Shakespearean plays at a unique time, you'll be able to start your day with some great food too.

The Midnight Matinees at Globe Theatre take place at 12am and tickets cost from £5.00 standing in the gallery to £33.00 in the upper gallery.
