Morden Fireworks Display

Visit Morden Park and have a blast of a Bonfire Night at the 2008 Morden fireworks display. Prepare for something special in celebration of the 403rd anniversary of the infamous Gunpowder Plot.

Morden fireworks

Expect plenty of Bonfire Night London action at Morden Park, with two separate displays and traditional Guy Fawkes bonfires lined up for the night. The atmosphere will be electric on the night as huge fireworks displays go off with a bang.

Children’s fireworks display

The first fireworks display of the evening is themed especially for young children and includes music, adding an extra special touch for young visitors on the night. Following this the main, larger display will take place, which is bound to be something special.

Bonfire Night in London

2008 marks the 403rd anniversary of the infamous Gunpowder Plot and as such, Bonfire Night celebrations are set to be bigger than ever. Londoners are invited to join in the fun at the Morden fireworks display and make it one to remember for 2008.

Fun and games

Fireworks and bonfires will be accompanied by a fairground and sidestall attractions, offering up plenty to keep the crowds busy all evening. Visitors to Morden Park can make the most of traditional fairground attractions after enjoying a stunning display of fireworks.

The Morden fireworks display takes place on Saturday 1st November 2008. Gates open at 5.15pm. The first bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm followed by a fireworks display at 6.45pm. The second bonfire will be lit at 8.15pm followed by a second fireworks display at 8.30pm. Nearest tube: Morden.

Tickets for the Morden Fireworks Display are £7.00 for adults, £4.00 for under 18s. Kids under 4 go free and family tickets (two adults and two children) are £20. Sidestalls and the fairground remain open until 10pm.
