Super Hot Club. I cannot get enough of it. Great DJ, the atmosphere and sexy girls. One of the best clubs in London.

Surprised at the negative reviews - actually we found that the staff at tthe door and inside were incredibly polite to us. But did see a few people trying to push in at the front then get angry with the door staff. Used Capital A List to get in and even got some free drinks at their table. Club did get a bit packed in the main room later in the night, so we moved to the smaller room. Most of the guests seemed generally cool and enjoying the night.

The guys behind the bar and the glass collectors are friendly but this is vastly overshadowed by the attitude of the management and door staff, the drink prices, and the sheer amount racism (I had 2 blacks friends out of a large group who were the only 2 rejected despite looking the best).

I got kicked off a table I had booked just because we stopped buying bottles of Vodka. If someone's already bought 3 bottles in 2 hours you would think you'd be treat nicely instead of being kicked off. Oh, and after 30 minutes of waiting we just gave up trying to call over someone to take our drinks order and instead ordered from the bar.

Do yourself a favour and go to somewhere like Bond/24 or Maddox instead, far superior in every aspect.

What a terrible place! Movida must be the worst club in London! Movida pretends to be some "A" list venue when all it is, is a dressed up club for chavs and failed models!

I went there with a few friends, spent £5k on our table and we were surrounded by fake people! The staff are rude, the service is terrible, the crowd is pretentious and the Dj just shouts on the mic all night long! If you want class stay well away from this place!

To be honest the only good thing about this club is the decor!

If your classy and want to spend money enjoying yourself.....go somewhere else! This is a club full of people snorting drugs in the toilets and old men abusing drunk eastern european women!

We got on Capital A List guestlist and these guys know how to put on a party. Thanks Dan (can;t remember the other guys names ;) Wow Movida is just unreal - we were a big group of Kent girls who came over for a birthday party - never been to such a fancy club before! Really big club and the music was ace. Think its a really exclusive place tho - saw a group not get in at the door - they we’re trying to blag there way in by saying they were on someone’s guestlist who wasnt there! Also, u need to be properly dressed up - its like models and celebs inside. Will b going back for sure. Katie xx

Movida is a perfect option if you require a club venue via private hire for a special exclusive hire or corporate event however as a regular club the service conditions are extremely poor.

Only visit this club if you appreciate:
Having to queue to spend extortionate cash on toxic spirits;
Being ignored by obnoxious middleAged failed models holding clipboards freezing their saggy derrières at the door;
Strange characters seemingly just standing or floating around alone possibly seeking a victim
High levels if tin Treble, absent or minimal bass or pedestrian music
Table spends of a grand upwards whilst still in receipt of unacceptably rude snobby service
Poor management
Insanely non flexible security
Ridiculously shallow petty non intelligent promoters
Lots of drag queen esque make-up, fake nails, fake hair, and general fakes
Being treated like your hard earned cash is not worthy of a place that won't survive without shabby chavvy celeb led PR

This place couldn't be any worse.

Firstly, my girlfriend tripped down the first flight of stairs (at 10pm so not drunk!) and whilst holding her down the second set, I was ordered to stand to the right, when I tried to explain that she had just fallen, I was shouted at again.

Then, we were told by the first clipboard lady at the entrance that it was £20 for the guys and the girl was free. At the payment booth I was demanded to pay £40 (which I though was for me and my male colleague). but when my girlfriend got asked to pay I went back up to the box and said "excuse me, we were....." before I was once again shouted at and told to go downstairs "NOW"!

Bought a bottle of gin (as it worked out cheaper than buying idividuals) and even after £250 down then still charged us £2 each time we wanted a tonic.

Topped off by arrogant customers, waitresses parading sparkling champagne around, crap music that's so lound you cant even go the back bar to get away from it, a tiny dancefloor and narrow isles this truely was the worst evening I've ever had.

Well after what happened last night at Merah club, I must give the 5 stars to Movida, I went there many times and I never had a bad experience with the staff at the door, the music is amazing ( last time I was a little bit disappointed the DJ played a kind of "rock" house music, boring) But inside the venue is impressive, good music, the waiters are so classy , even if its busy, they remain focused and smiling( its a shame to call them waiters, they are dressed up in black suit, and smart looking), just go up on the podium, and dance!
