This summer’s Much Ado About Nothing tickets are going to be hot so make sure to book yours now. The timeless Shakespeare comedy will star two of Britain’s star talents – Catherine Tate and David Tennant. It’s with no doubt that the Dr Who duo’s reunion will bring an exciting and new element to Much Ado About Nothing tickets. The award-winning pair will be playing the roles of bickering couple Beatrice and Benedick.
Classic tale
The Shakespeare’s classic comedy about two pairs of lovers can be appreciated and enjoyed by so many. Claudio and Hero are two young lovers madly in love and due to be married but with a jealous Prince willing to do anything to stop the marriage, it seems that he might succeed in his attempts. On the other end of the spectrum, Beatrice and Benedick, are a pair of reluctant lovers who refuse to admit love for each other, but their constant witty sparring always looks like it could keep them apart forever. Much Ado About Nothing tickets give the audience a chance to see the other side of Shakespeare, without all the ‘Romeo, Romeo’ vibes.
Josie Rourke
With the very experienced and talented Josie Rourke as Director for this production, Much Ado About Nothing tickets will be a real gem for anyone who can get their hands on them. Josie is Artistic Director for the Bush Theatre and her credits are of an epic length and span globally.
David Tennant
David Tennant, known more recently for his role as the tenth incarnation of Dr Who in the iconic TV series, has starred in many theatre productions, TV and films, winning awards including Critics’ Circle Award for Best Shakespearean Performance and National Television Award’s Outstanding Drama Performance. His most recent Shakespeare theatre roles are in Hamlet and Love’s Labour’s Lost as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company. David’s film credits include Bright Young Things and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Catherine Tate
Multi-award winning Catherine Tate, who is mostly recognised for her acclaimed TV sketch show, The Catherine Tate Show, has also enjoyed a successful theatre career. Currently she can be seen in Alan Ayckbourn’s Season’s Greetings at the National Theatre and has also been in Shakespeare’s A Servant to Two Masters for the Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as The Way of the World. Catherine’s film career has also taken off and you can expect to see her in Gulliver’s Travels and Love and Other Disasters this year.
