Taking place in the Attenborough Studio in the new, high tech area of the Natural History Museum, Nature Live at Darwin Centre is a series of lively and informal talks hosted by some of the museum's 350 scientists and natural history experts.

Natural History talks
Part of a series of interactive events at the new scientific research exhibition space at the Natural History Museum, Nature Live at Darwin Centre takes place in the state of the art Attenborough Studio. Expect a varied programme of free talks, film screenings and displays of specimens and live animals at Nature Live, with events taking place daily.

Programme highlights
With the chance to quiz scientists, enter into discussions about science and the natural world and learn more about the expert work done behind the scenes at the Natural History Museum, the Nature Live at Darwin Centre events promises to be popular with kids, families and science enthusiasts of all ages. The daily progamme of events includes talks on varied topics such as the flotsam and jetsam found on British beaches and the fossils left behind by dinosaurs.

World of animals
Creatures covered at the Nature Live at Darwin Centre talks include the enigmatic giant squid, great white sharks, dinosaurs and amphibians. Other unusual subjects of discussion include the museum's collection of mummified cats and the natural history of the potato.
