New Years Eve at Guanabara

Greet the new year the Rio way with New Years Eve at Guanabara. The late night Brazilian venue is getting in the carnival spirit to say goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012.

London sees a colourful infusion of Brazilian culture with New Years Eve at Guanabara, where you can celebrate the new year with dinner, DJ sets, Capoiera and a live percussion show. The Guanabara party puts a fresh spin on the Rio festival traditions, and also features coverage of the New Year celebrations in Rio de Janeiro, including the massive fireworks display, on the big screens.

Capoeira and more
There'll be live Capoeira demonstrations during New Years Eve at Guanabara, so you can enjoy a display of the distinctly Brazilian performance art that combines martial arts and dance. Revellers can also enjoy a live percussion show and more Brazilian dance performances at the party, which has an all-white dress code.

Three course dinner
At the Guanabara ball you have the choice of paying a little extra for a three course meal. Guests will also be treated to a caipirinha on arrival to get everyone in the celebratory mood.

Latin beats
Live bands will be performing funk, soul, samba and pop to get you up on the dance floor. There's also DJ sets to make you feel as if you are on the streets of Rio with some authentic Brazilian beats.
