Royal Festival Hall
Gabby Young and Other Animals are headlining the Royal Festival Hall's contribution to New Years Eve at Southbank Centre, making for a brilliant night of live music. Fans of Young's avant garde fusions of folk, Balkan brass, jazz and swing music will be thrilled to spend the last night of the year with this impressive, vibrant and super energetic band.
Live entertainment
Other attractions at the Royal Festival Hall include cabaret, a silent disco and beatboxing, as well as magic and card tricks from Piff the Magic Dragon. There's also the chance to throw some shapes at Eliza Carthy's Motown Ceilidh, while more live music for New Years Eve at Southbank Centre will find its way to your ears thanks to the Trans-Siberian Marching Band, the Urban Folk Quartet, Jess Bryant and The Destroyers.

Meanwhile, over at the Queen Elizabeth Hall pop champions Guilty Pleasures will be hosting an exuberant New Years Eve celebration. With an irresistible mix of power ballads, pop music and stomping disco tunes from the Guilty Pleasures DJs and hosts Sean Rowley and Anna Greenwood, there's every excuse you need to spend New Years Eve at Southbank Centre larging it up on the dance floor.
Fireworks finale
One of the most exciting and vibrant of venues, you can be guaranteed a fantastic night of music and entertainment at the Southbank Centre. As midnight approaches, ticket holders for both New Years Eve parties will be lead out onto the private Festival Terrace (weather permitting), for an unrivalled view of the nearby London Eye's spectacular fireworks.
The Royal Festival Hall party for New Years Eve at Southbank Centre takes place from 7pm - 2am, Saturday 31st December 2011. Tickets cost £80.00.
