Nike Midnight Madness is a unique basketball event inviting young ballers to pit their skills in a late night London competition. Competitors will be playing for a chance to be part of the Nike Midnight Madness team, play streetball in L.A. and hang with an NBA basketball star, in an exclusive contest that rages on until the small hours.
The competition heats upNike Midnight Madness hits London this summer in a high octane, thrilling basketball event. Players will set it off on the basketball court from 7pm onwards, battling it out from dusk till dawn during a night of extreme basketball action. Expect skills galore all night, where the atmosphere promises to be electric all night long.
Make a night of itSpectators can keep track of the competition from courtside and take a break from the action in the chill out lounge. Cinema and gaming zones will also be available on the night, guaranteeing plenty to do throughout the evening. Basketball fans will not want to miss the chance to see the cream of fresh UK talent battle it out on court, live in London.
Playing to winThe ten highest scoring players of the night will join a selection of ten other elite players from across the UK, meeting at the Nike Midnight Madness finals at Wenmbley Arena on Saturday 16th August. With guest appearances from NBA stars Luol Deng and Pops Mensah-Bonsu, the final will be a seriously high-flying occasion, with top drawer basketball action in store.
New for 2008 Nike Midday Madness gives even more ballers the chance to shine on court. 9 Midday Madness qualifiers take place across the UK with two in central London. There will be youth coaching for basketball players aged 8 to 16, female only competitions, show and prove trials for over and under 21s, and plenty mor besides.

Qualifying sessions runs from 2pm until 10pm and the final runs from 7pm – midnight.
