Take the whole family out to the Northcote Road Carnival for a day full of free fun. Combining elements of a summer festival with a family friendly street party, the carnival promises plenty of entertainment to suit all ages.

Live entertainment
Highlights of the 2010 Northcote Road Carnival include a colourful procession of hundreds of children from local schools and community groups, as well as live music from local bands. The Lightyears, Skinny Machines, The Young Squires, The Lavender Hillbillies and St Marks Gospel Band are just some of the live acts set to entertain the crowds.

Fun for kids
Children can join in with all the fun by having a go on the selection of fairground rides at the Northcote Road Carnival. The whole of Northcote Road near Clapham Junction will be traffic free for the street party, promising a child friendly, community atmosphere for the event.

Fresh food
As well as all the live entertainment, families can also browse the stalls at the Northcote Road market, with flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables and speciality foods all available to buy. An Italian market will also be up and running for the Northcote Road Carnival, selling olive oil, pasta, cheese, bread and Murano glass.

The Northcote Road Carnival runs from 10am - 10pm, Sunday 13th June 2010. Admission is free. Nearest tube: Clapham Junction.
