Not The Messiah tickets are now available for the hilarious musical based on the Monty Python film, The Life of Brian, as Eric Idle is joined by special guests Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam for a one-night musical spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall. Not The Messiah tickets will enable fans to enjoy a very silly musical indeed, as Monty Python celebrates its Ruby Jubilee year in serious style by hosting a series of events to commemorate this landmark.

Pick up Not The Messiah tickets
Those fortunate enough to get their hands on Not The Messiah tickets for this one-off show will be treated to a musical version of one of Monty Python’s best, yet most controversial films. Fully titled Not The Messiah (He’s A Very Naughty Boy), the musical is based on The Life of Brian, which sees Brian, a reluctant revolutionary who is quickly mistaken for a messiah and ultimately put to death to the sounds of one of Monty Python’s most famous songs, Always Look On The Bright Side of Life.

Not The Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall
This European premier of the Not The Messiah musical will take place for one night only at the Royal Albert Hall, a suitably grand arena for a musical that deals with messiahs, the Romans, crucifixions and a very naughty boy. The venue will be filled with the sound of the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by long-time Monty Python collaborator and score writer, John Du Prez.

Eric Idle and more
Joining Eric Idle on the Not The Messiah Stage will be Michael Palin who will be hosting affairs as Mrs. Betty Parkinson, as well as guest appearances from Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones. Idle himself will be reprising some of his best-loved roles from the film including Mr. Cheeky and Stan the revolutionary who wants to be called Loretta. Not The Messiah follows on from Idle’s hugely successful and award-winning musical, Spamalot, so if you’ve missed Python on stage ever since it closed, pick up tickets and head for the Royal Albert Hall.

Worldwide Monty Python celebrations
Not The Messiah (He’s A Very Naughty Boy) is just one of a number of celebrations taking place throughout the world to celebrate Monty Python’s 40th anniversary, after initially broadcasting Monty Python’s Flying Circus back in 1969. An Evening With Monty Python takes place both in Hollywood and New York, a brand new book, Monty Python Live! is set to be published, and a new six part documentary called Almost The Truth (The Lawyer’s Cut) is scheduled for transmission in October.

Not The Messiah tickets are available for the performance of Not The Messiah (He’s A Very Naughty Boy) at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 23rd October 2009. To purchase tickets please follow the link below.
