Nun Run London
Nun Run London

When

Sunday 11th September 2011

Where

Leaves from Dunster Court, Mincing Lane

Sign up for the nun run in London and get ready to feel ultra virtuous as you leg it past some of the city's most famous landmarks while dressed in a nun's habit for charity. Tying in with the popular West End show Sister Act adapted from the hit film starring Whoopi Goldberg, the nun run aims to raise money for The Round Table Children's Wish.

Nun run London
Starting in the City and taking in Tower Bridge, South Bank, the Tate Modern, London Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge and the Thames Pathway, the nun run London event is four miles long and aims to raise loads of much needed cash for the children's charity. As part of the registration fee you'll be given a nun's habit to wear for the day, so get ready to slip into your wimple and hang on to your crucifix as you sprint along with the similarly attired runners.

All welcome
With around a thousand competitors expected to take part in the nun run, London will be swamped by runners clothed head to toe in black and white nun's outfits. Expect to catch sight of more than a couple cross dressing nuns as well, as men are also expected to adopt the appropriate dress for the fun run.

The four mile nun run London event starts 10am, Sunday 11th September 2011 at Dunster Court. Registration is £25.00. For more information and to register a place on the run, click on the link below.
