Olympics 1940s styleShoreditch Park is also showing the handover moment from one Mayor to another, and to mark the occassion is hosting their very own Hackney Handover from 1pm onwards. With a street party straight out of the 1940s, which was the last time the Olympics came to London, the Shoreditch festival will end with live dancing, entertainment and plenty of sport, along with a big screen for you to watch all the official action on.
The Olympic handover screenings take place on Sunday 24th August with various entertainments on offer in each location. The official handover takes place at 2.30pm with entertainment on hand before and after the event.
