Returning from travels around the world bringing innovative and creative films and interactive events, the onedotzero Festival heads to the BFI Southbank for Adventures in Motion. London film fans shouldn’t miss the opportunity to see some amazing films and take part in workshops and events that you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

Films on view
This year’s onedotzero Festival features a line-up of plenty of great films of all sizes, from quirky shorts to full length favourites. Highlights include a special live version of the interactive neo-noir film Sufferr0sa, as well as an in-depth focus on the projection mapping trend.

Music videos and more
It’s not just films that are on show at the onedotzero Adventures in Motion festival. The wavelength programme sees a selection of offbeat music videos from around the world, while the Sound and Vision strand explores sound as a visual medium, from apps and debates to live A/V performances and installations.

Special events
Special events for this year’s onedotzero Festival include installations, workshops, talks and live AV events to keep your creative mind going. Other programmes include a specially selected films in the Code series, which explores the use of computer coding in moving image work.

Global tour
Before and after the onedotzero festival takes place at the BFI Southbank it is continuing its tour across the globe so that film fans throughout the world have the chance to catch their events and screenings. After London it’s off once again for another year so if you don’t want to miss Adventures in Motion, be sure to catch it when it’s in the capital for five days in November.

onedotzero
onedotzero is an organisation dedicated to promoting innovative moving images, incorporating everything from films to events and since 1999 they’ve been the world’s largest dedicated digital film festival. If you’re not familiar with their work don't miss the Adventures in Motion festival for the chance to see some of the most advanced filmmaking yet.
