Enjoy a day of magic, cakes and vintage larks during the open day at Wiltons Music Hall, when the world's oldest surviving music hall hosts a grand fundraiser.

Vintage kicks
With vintage music, magic tricks, high tea and the chance to take a tour of the historic East End venue, the open day at Wiltons Music Hall is bound to be a popular event. Money raised during the event will help raise funds for Wilton's Capital Project, which aims to save the semi-derelict building from closure and help restore and conserve this vital part of London's cultural heritage.

Traditional cake sale
Enthusiastic bakers are invited to make and donate a cake for the traditional cake sale taking place in the main hall during the open day at Wiltons Music Hall. Acclaimed and innovative baker Lily Vanilli will be judging the cake competition, so let your creativity run wild for the chance to be crowned champion and win an exclusive prize.

Magic and more
After the open day at Wiltons Music Hall is officially opened by Barbara Windsor, the afternoon of events really gets underway with tricks from Wilton's Magician in Residence Katherine Rhodes, who will be making cupcakes float before your eyes. An exclusive, Wilton's inspired letter press print by graphic artist Anthony Burrill will also be up for sale at the event.

The open day at Wiltons Music Hall takes place from 3pm - 6pm, Sunday 25th September 2011. Admission is free.
