Taking place at the Southbank Centre in early June 2011, the Orange Prize for Fiction London events celebrate the best in modern female fiction.

Orange Prize for Fiction London
With talks and readings open to the public before the all important awards ceremony, the Orange Prize for Fiction London events are set to be a big draw for those who love a good read. Showcasing some of the best in new fiction by women, the events at the Southbank Centre serve as a great introduction to new authors.

Shortlist readings
The 2011 Orange Prize for Fiction London events start with the Orange Prize shortlist readings, feature the six authors shortlisted for the 2011 prize. Emma Donoghue, Aminatta Forna, Emma Henderson, Nicole Krauss, Té'a Obreht and Kathleen Winter will be reading from their nominated novels and can be heard in conversation with the event's host.

Award for new writers
Taking place the day after the shortlist readings, the next Orange Prize for Fiction London event at the Southbank Centre is the Orange and Grazia Writers' Evening at the Purcell Room. Hosted by Kate Mosse, the evening includes a writers' clinic where you can get top advice on how to get published.

The Orange Prize for Fiction London readings and events run from Monday 6th June - Tuesday 7th June 2011. Tickets for the reading and talk events cost £10.00 - £12.00. For more information and to book your tickets, call 0871 663 2500.
