Celtic BakeryThe guys from the Celtic Bakery will be handing out Soil Association membership forms and stickers at various farmer's markets around London during the fortnight. You can have a chat with the bakers, find out what makes their bread different, and buy some to take home.
Twickenham Farmers MarketThe market takes place every Saturday and they sell plenty of organic produce from 9am to 1pm each week. Fresh and organic free range eggs, dry cure bacon and the best sausages are all available to fans of breakfast fare.
Canal Bridge Green FayreHead to the Canal Bridge Green Fayre on Saturday 20th September for loads of informative activities on reducing your carbon footprint and saving money by going green. The Fayre takes place 12pm - 6pm in Peckham Square, SE15.
Soil Association LectureMonty Don takes the Lady Eve Memorial lecture at Central Hall, Westminster on Thursday 2nd October. Hear from the Soil Association president about rising food prices, the impact of climate change and what we can do to safeguard food in the future. The lecture starts at 6pm, and tickets are £15.00 for members, £20.00 for non members. Booking details TBC.
