With plenty of organic and natural food events taking place in Organic Fortnight London is definitely the place to get your grub this September.

Soil Association approved
Run by the Soil Association who are the organisation that approve most organic foods and products for the consumer, the Organic Fortnight is a UK wide celebration of producing food, textiles and other products without the use of chemicals or harmful drugs.

Organic food for all
All over the country and in the capital people are being urged to wake up to an organic breakfast as part of the fortnights events. So if you want to have yourself a satisfying start to the day there are plenty of events taking place during Organic Fortnight, London markets and health food stores being the one of the best places to start.

Here are some of the best places to get your organic produce throughout Organic Fortnight London:

Celtic Bakery
The guys from the Celtic Bakery will be handing out Soil Association membership forms and stickers at various farmer's markets around London during the fortnight. You can have a chat with the bakers, find out what makes their bread different, and buy some to take home.

Twickenham Farmers Market
The market takes place every Saturday and they sell plenty of organic produce from 9am to 1pm each week. Fresh and organic free range eggs, dry cure bacon and the best sausages are all available to fans of breakfast fare.

Canal Bridge Green Fayre
Head to the Canal Bridge Green Fayre on Saturday 20th September for loads of informative activities on reducing your carbon footprint and saving money by going green. The Fayre takes place 12pm - 6pm in Peckham Square, SE15.

Soil Association Lecture
Monty Don takes the Lady Eve Memorial lecture at Central Hall, Westminster on Thursday 2nd October. Hear from the Soil Association president about rising food prices, the impact of climate change and what we can do to safeguard food in the future. The lecture starts at 6pm, and tickets are £15.00 for members, £20.00 for non members. Booking details TBC.

Abel and Cole
Asides from attending the Organic Festival in Bristol, the food delivery company Abel and Cole are celebrating Organic Fortnight in London by giving View London users the chance to get their hands on some fabulous, fresh organic veg.
