This year's ceremony takes place at exactly the same time as the switching on events at Regent Street and St Pauls Cathedral, as all sets of lights are turned on at the same time.
Live music on the nightLive performances on the night this year come from a selection of performers including The Saturdays, Taio Cruz and Peter Andre, but the highlight of the night is sure to be the appearance of the Disney's A Christmas Carol stars, who will be switching on the lights on Oxford Steet and Regent Street before heading off to the world premiere of the film at Leicester Square.
