The Oxford Street Christmas lights are among the most famous in the world, each year attracting thousands to the West End over the Christmas and New Year period. A definite highlight of Christmas in London, the lights will be switched on during the evening of Thursday 6th November 2014 outside the Selfridges department store.

The Oxford Street Christmas lights are traditionally switched on by a lineup of popular celebrities who come out to meet the crowds at the start of Christmas. Head to the West End with friends and family and cheer on the special guests who will be flicking the switch and turning on the Oxford Street illuminations for another Christmas. This year, Cheryl Fernandez Versini will be on hand to flick the switch and boy band Rixton and singer songwriter Jess Glynne will also be there to lend the event that essential glitzy air so make sure you turn up early to catch a glimpse of these fantastic stars in person.
