At WC1, the Oxford Street powder room open from 12th December 2006, you can change your clothes, fix your makeup, and generally get ready for that all-important date in peace and quiet, with a little bit of luxury thrown in.

Changing rooms
Need to freshen up after work? Have to fix your makeup before going out? Women who work in Central London can head to the Oxford Street powder room before a night out with their mates, and shoppers can stop in to change before catching a show or making their restaurant reservations. It definitely beats changing in the toilets at work.

Powder room features
WC1 features a large boutique powder room to check your makeup, with comfortable seats and convenient mirrors and lighting. There are also oversized toilet cubicles if you’d like to freshen up with a little bit of privacy. They’re big enough to change in, and air conditioned too.

Luxurious loos
Adding to the luxury of the WC1 Oxford Street powder room, relaxing lounge music is played and there are always fresh flowers out. There are soft towels and deluxe soaps and lotions in the toilet cubicles, and high end beauty products available for purchase.

The cleanliness question
Of course, the most important question of all regarding a toilet is – is it clean? The answer thankfully is a resounding yes. Germophobes can rejoice, because all the loo cubicles are sterilised and sealed after each visit.
