Feast on gourmet crepe creations for Pancake Day at The Botanist, as the chic venue on Sloane Square in Chelsea puts on a special menu for Shrove Tuesday.

Perfect for those who want to throw caution to the wind and indulge in some lavish crepe based dishes before Lent, the special menu for Pancake Day at The Botanist features dishes such as a caramelised apple crepe with vanilla ice cream. Other options include a banana and chocolate crepe served with pistachio praline, and American style blueberry pancakes served with cured crispy bacon and maple syrup.

Afternoon tea
If you really want to go all out and celebrate Shrove Tuesday in style, there's also the chance to sample a special afternoon tea for Pancake Day at The Botanist. The Champagne afternoon tea features finger sandwiches, homemade scones with jam and clotted cream, and the crepe of your choice.

Pancake Day at The Botanist takes place on Tuesday 21st February 2012, with pancakes available throughout the day. The afternoon tea is available from 3.30pm - 6.30pm. Dishes start from £6.50.
