An exclusive Peter Pan book launch is taking place at midnight on Wednesday 4th October in celebration of the upcoming release of the new Peter Pan novel, whilst also raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital. In a unique addition to events an exclusive Peter Pan Faberge Egg will also be unveiled, promising something truly special on the night.

Peter Pan Eggs in LondonThe St Petersburg Collection in London’s Burlington Arcade will be hosting an exclusive midnight opening, marking the launch of a brand new Peter Pan Faberge Egg created by Theo Faberge, the grandson of Carl Faberge, and his daughter Sarah Faberge. Limited to only 50 worldwide, the eggs are truly exclusive and Londoners can be the first to see them at a unique launch event.
Visit the Peter Pan Book LaunchEach egg will be accompanied by a numbered, first edition copy of the new novel Peter Pan in Scarlet, due for general release on Thursday 5th October. These preview editions will be signed by celebrated author Geraldine McCaughrean, the book’s illustrator and Sarah Faberge, and only these 50 books will have all three signatures.
Raising money for charityProceeds from the book and the egg will go towards raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.In 2004 the Special Trustees of Great Ormond Street Hospital launched the search for a sequel to JM Barrie’s classic novel, Peter Pan, in celebration of its centenary. Out of a shortlist of nearly 200 entries worldwide Geraldine McCaughrean was chosen to pen a new Peter Pan story and continue the legacy.
Peter Pan in ScarletBased in the 1930s Peter Pan in Scarlet is a brand new story arc featuring the original Peter Pan characters. Fans of the original novel can re-enter the magical world created by JM Barrie at the Peter Pan book launch, replete with mystery and adventure. Tinkerbell herself will be in attendance at the launch, serving punch to visitors on the night.
